The Financial Pie
Ed-Data provides two summaries of statewide revenues and expenditures for K-12 education. The first tab shows the totals and averages for the General Fund for all school districts. The second tab has the County School Service Fund totals and averages for programs administered by county offices of education.

As of 2003-04, all California school districts and county offices are required to report their financial information in a standard format called the Standardized Account Code Structure, or SACS. The instructions for SACS are in the California School Accounting Manual (CSAM).
