    These reports present summary information on the academic performance of students in their first year at a California State University (CSU) for institutions that sent five or more students to the CSU system.

    California’s Master Plan for Education and the Office of the Education Master Plan

    The California Master Plan was an effort to create a roadmap to provide a coherent educational system presented to the Legislature in 2002. An archive of the Office of the Education Master Plan website, is available through the California State Library Digital Archive.

    Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team (FCMAT)

    (an Ed-Data Partner) Fiscal and data management advice, management assistance, professional development and other related school business and data services for school districts and county offices of education. FCMAT's California School Information Services hosts and maintains the Ed-Data site.

    Office of the Legislative Analyst (LAO)

    Analyses and reports on fiscal and policy issues affecting the state.

    Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC)

    A nonprofit organization that researches economic, political and social issues in California.

    School Services of California (SSC)

    A private organization that assists school districts, county offices of education, and community colleges with their various responsibilities, especially fiscal. FCMAT and SSC provide free software to prepare and explain their budgets.

    This New America Foundation project provides state- and district-level information on federal education funding.

    National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)

    Data and analyses about education in the United States. See especially the Common Core of Data, which consists of fiscal and non-fiscal data about all public schools in the United States.

    National Education Association (NEA) Research

    Reviews education data, issues and policies. Prints an annual publication, Rankings and Estimates, with information on all 50 states.

    U.S. Department of Education

    Information about all aspects of education in the United States and abroad, including links to many other sites.
